Thick-Layer Self-Leveling Mortar

HC250 Thick-Layer Crack-Resistant Self-Leveling Mortar

Designed for deeper leveling applications, large height differences, and damaged-floor refurbishment ahead of premium finish systems.

Thickness
20 mm and above
HC250 Thick-Layer Crack-Resistant Self-Leveling Mortar

Overview

HC250 is a thick-layer, crack-resistant self-leveling mortar formulated for applications at 20 mm and above, where large height differences or damaged substrates need to be corrected before finish materials are installed. It is suited to factories, warehouses, and parking structures, and is commonly used for base preparation beneath premium finish systems. For thin precision leveling below 10 mm, the appropriate thin-layer product such as GQ300 should be used instead.

Key Features

Deep-Fill Capability

Engineered for application at 20 mm and above to correct significant height differences.

Refurbishment-Ready

Suited to rebuilding damaged or degraded substrates ahead of new finish installation.

Reduced Cracking Risk

Formulated to reduce shrinkage and cracking risk under specified application conditions at depth.

Heavy-Duty Base Preparation

Appropriate for factory, warehouse, and parking-structure base preparation.

Application Scope

  • Factories and industrial workshops
  • Warehouses and logistics facilities
  • Parking structures
  • Damaged-floor refurbishment projects
  • Base preparation beneath premium finish systems

Process & Application Guidance

  1. Step 1

    Substrate Assessment

Height differences and structural condition are surveyed to plan the fill depth.

  2. Step 2

    Substrate Preparation

Damaged material is removed and the base is cleaned and primed.

  3. Step 3

    Metered Mixing

Mortar is mixed to the specified ratio for deep-fill placement.

  4. Step 4

    Thick-Layer Placement

Material is placed in the required depth and leveled across the working bay.

  5. Step 5

    Extended Curing

Additional curing time is allowed to suit the greater application depth.

  6. Step 6

    Finish-Layer Handover

Prepared base is verified before a thin-layer leveling or finish system is applied.
